November 2026 is a crowded month for Korean series. A webtoon-based fantasy romance with a famous cast, a big-budget historical epic from KBS, a Korea-Japan story released all at once on Netflix, and the return of two well-known shows all land within about three weeks. If you watch from outside Korea, the harder question is often not what to watch but where you can watch it, because several titles stream on a different service abroad than at home. This guide lists the main new K-dramas of November 2026 with their premiere dates, Korean air times and the platforms named in official announcements and reliable trade coverage. Everything here is as of November 4, 2026. Schedules can shift, and one major title has already moved, so check your own streaming app before you plan a viewing night.
Key takeaways
- The Remarried Empress (재혼 황후) premiered a day early, on November 3, with four episodes on Disney+ (Hulu in the US). Two more episodes arrive every Wednesday until the finale on November 25.
- Sword and Silence (문무), KBS's Silla-era epic, starts November 14 and airs Saturdays and Sundays at 9:20 p.m. KST, with 28 episodes planned.
- The Blue Road (푸른길) drops all eight episodes on Netflix on November 20.
- Good Partner 2 (from November 20) and Nine to Six (from November 25) stream on Netflix only in Korea. Outside Korea, look on Rakuten Viki or Viu for the first and Amazon Prime Video for the second.
- For a film night, Lee Chang Dong's Possible Love reaches Netflix on November 6.

The Remarried Empress
The biggest launch of the month is already out. Disney announced that The Remarried Empress (재혼 황후) would premiere one day earlier than planned, so its first four episodes arrived on November 3 instead of November 4. After that, two new episodes come out every Wednesday until the finale on November 25, which makes ten episodes in total. Soompi lists the release time as 5 p.m. KST, which is 3 a.m. in New York and midnight in Los Angeles.

The series is based on the NAVER WEBTOON of the same name, which Disney says has passed about 3 billion views. Shin Mina plays Empress Navier, Ju Jihoon plays Emperor Sovieshu, Lee Jongsuk plays Heinrey, and Lee Seyoung plays Rashta, the woman whose arrival upends the court. Cho Suwon directs. Disney also said the final trailer passed 13 million views within 48 hours and that the Busan International Film Festival screenings sold out. If you liked the webtoon, this is the title most fans will be discussing all month.
Sword and Silence
Sword and Silence (문무) is KBS2's large historical drama about Silla's wars to unify the Three Kingdoms. It premieres on Saturday, November 14, and airs Saturdays and Sundays at 9:20 p.m. KST. Lee Hyun Wook, Jang Hyuk, Kim Kang Woo and Park Sung Woong lead the cast. Discover Asian World reports that it is planned at 28 episodes, running into the first half of 2027, and cites Korean reports of a budget of about 30 billion won. The Korean title shares its name with King Munmu, the Silla ruler who completed the unification.
Netflix Korea lists the series from November 14, but we could not confirm whether it will stream on Netflix in other countries. If it does not appear in your Netflix app on premiere weekend, check again a few days later before turning to other services. Because the run is long, this is also the easiest title to start late and catch up on over the winter.

The Blue Road
The Blue Road (푸른길) is the month's binge release: all eight episodes arrive on Netflix on November 20 at 5 p.m. KST. Son Suk Ku stars opposite Japanese actor Nagayama Eita, and Han Jun Hee directs. The first three episodes were screened at the Busan International Film Festival, according to Discover Asian World. With only eight episodes, it is the most realistic choice if you want to finish a new Korean series in a single weekend.

Good Partner 2 and Nine to Six
Two SBS shows start late in the month, and both follow the same pattern: Netflix in Korea, a different service elsewhere. Good Partner 2 premieres on November 20 and airs Fridays and Saturdays at 9:50 p.m. KST. Jang Nara returns, joined by Kim Hye Yoon, Park Hae Jin and P.O. What's on Netflix reports 16 episodes of about 70 minutes, streaming on Netflix only in South Korea, with Rakuten Viki and Viu carrying it in other regions.
Nine to Six follows on November 25, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m. KST, with Park Min Young, Yook Sungjae and Go Soo. It is an adaptation of the Chinese drama The Rational Life and runs 12 episodes of about 70 minutes. Outside Korea, What's on Netflix says it is headed to Amazon Prime Video rather than Netflix.
Comedies, romances and short runs
Not every November title is a big event. Several smaller series are easier to fit into a busy week:
- Francesca Next Door (옆자리, 프란체스카), from November 6 on Wavve, is a spin-off of the 2005 vampire sitcom Hello, Francesca, with Han Su A and Kim Hyun Jin. Wavve mainly serves viewers in Korea.
- One-of-a-Kind Romance (유일무이 로맨스) starts November 9 on Mondays, with Joy and Kim Hyun Jin, and is listed on Viki.
- What a Boss Wants (보스의 노골적 취향), from November 11 on MBN, pairs Sung Hoon and Oh Se Young in an office romance and is also on Viki.
- Happy Anding (뜨거운 안녕), from November 11 on tvN, follows comedians who have struggled for ten years, with Kang Hoon, Cho Hyun Chul and Kim Jung Jin.
- The Substitute (대리수능), from November 23 on Mondays, is listed on Viki. Its Korean title refers to sitting the college entrance exam for someone else.
- KBS Drama Special: Sound:Track airs on November 18, 19 and 26, a short format that suits a single evening.

Crash 2
Crash 2 (크래시2: 분노의 도로) brings back ENA's traffic-crime investigation team on November 16, airing Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 p.m. Maeil Business Newspaper reports that Lee Min-ki, Kwak Sun-young, Heo Sung-tae, Lee Ho-cheol and Moon Hee return, Park Jisung of NCT joins, and the team's cases now go nationwide. In Korea it also streams on KT Genie TV and Disney+, and Soompi lists it on Viki. Season one peaked at a 6.6% rating, according to Discover Asian World, so this is a safe pick if you liked the first season.

Netflix films and season finales
Possible Love, Lee Chang Dong's new film, comes to Netflix on November 6. It runs 164 minutes and stars Jeon Do Yeon, Sul Kyung Gu and Zo In Sung, and What's on Netflix notes it is Korea's submission for the 99th Academy Awards. Netflix is also adding a Lee Chang Dong collection: Green Fish, Peppermint Candy, Oasis, Secret Sunshine, Poetry and Burning. Two ongoing series also end this month. Doctor X wraps up on November 14 (see our Doctor X viewing guide), and 100 Days of Deception ends on November 29.

Where to stream outside Korea
The same show can sit on different services depending on where you live. Here is the short version for the titles with confirmed international homes, as of November 2026:
| Service | November titles to look for |
|---|---|
| Netflix | The Blue Road, Possible Love, Lee Chang Dong collection (Sword and Silence: check your region) |
| Disney+ / Hulu (US) | The Remarried Empress |
| Rakuten Viki | Good Partner 2, Crash 2, What a Boss Wants, One-of-a-Kind Romance, The Substitute |
| Viu | Good Partner 2 (in its regions) |
| Amazon Prime Video | Nine to Six |
For viewers in Korea, Netflix's plans cost 7,000 won a month with ads, 13,500 won for Standard and 17,000 won for Premium, as of November 2026. Here is a simple routine for keeping up without missing premieres:
- Search each title by its English name in your app and tap "Remind me" or add it to your list. If nothing appears, try the Korean title shown in this guide.
- Convert the Korean air time to your own time zone. KST is UTC+9, so a 9:20 p.m. KST broadcast is 12:20 UTC, 7:20 a.m. in New York and 4:20 a.m. in Los Angeles.
- Expect subtitled episodes on international services some hours after the Korean broadcast, and check the episode list rather than assuming a fixed time.
- Use only licensed services. Unofficial streaming sites are a common source of malware and do not support the productions.
- Recheck availability on premiere day. Platforms and dates can change at short notice, as the early Remarried Empress premiere showed.
Which one to watch first
Pick by the time you have and the mood you want. For a full weekend, start with The Blue Road, since every episode is out on day one. If you want the drama everyone is discussing, The Remarried Empress is already four episodes in and finishes before December. History fans looking for a long winter series should save weekends for Sword and Silence. If you prefer familiar characters, Good Partner 2 and Crash 2 build on established first seasons, while Nine to Six suits viewers who like workplace romance. If you are also following year-end music events, our MAMA Awards voting guide covers that side of K-culture this season.

The one thing to watch is region. Several titles are on Netflix only in Korea, so check Viki, Viu or Prime Video before assuming a show is missing. If Sword and Silence makes you curious about Silla, Gyeongju is a good trip in late autumn, and our November weather and packing guide will help you plan it.
